WHO ARE THE BANJARAS?
The Banjara community has historically faced social and economic exclusion, resulting in limited access to quality education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, and social protection. Many families living around stone quarry regions continue to experience intergenerational poverty, with children missing educational opportunities and women having limited avenues for economic participation.
KnowPro Foundation works alongside these communities to strengthen access to education, promote sustainable livelihoods, and create pathways for inclusive and dignified development.
